Behemoth – the legendary Polish black/death metal band – has just completed his South-American-Tour and after conquered Mexico, Costa Rica, Salvador, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Brasil returned to Poland. However, instead of taking some rest, the leader of the band – Nergal – just a couple days after coming back home started another tour, this time promoting his biography called „The Confession of the Heretic. Sacrum Profanum.” The book was wrote by two close friends of him – Krzysztof Azarewicz (Behemoth Lyrics Writer) and Piotr Weltrowski (i.a. musician of „December’s Fire”), who made a real long interview with Nergal and asked him all possible (sometimes „uncomfortable”) questions regarding his private and music-life. „The Confession…” just after a week since the debut achieved the 25th place on Empik Megastore Bestseller Chart. The tour started since the visit in Cracow, where Nergal and his mates appeared in Empik-store on main Market Square – few fans showed up, some of them even from far Quebec. Nergal patiently explained the reasons for the book was written, told few funny stories from his life and confirmed, that the new Behemoth album will appear next year. It’s worth to mention that half year before (16th of may 2012) there was a premiere of Behemoth’s biography titled “Conquistadors of the Devil” written by Łukasz Dunaj. After that event, the authors could have been also met on the “Cracow Books-Fair” (biggest fairs in Poland) and they couldn’t long left their places surrounded by fans (next to ex-NHL-Star – Mariusz Czerkawski and Rallye-Paris-Dakar-attender – Krzysztof Hołowczyc). Because of a huge amount of questions regarding the English version of the book, there are currently searchings for the editor, who will release “The Confession of the Heretic. Sacrum Profanum” in English (we’ve got also a pretty good news for the fans from South America – there’s a concept to release it in Spanish, too). If any American editor is interesting in it, please get in touch with the management of the band. Behemoth gave previously this year a spectacular show in Cracow (January 21st).
Check out galleries from both events below and prepare for the replacer of „Evangelion”-album (released in August 2009) next year – Nergal, Orion, Seth and Inferno are working hard on it and planning to invade Europe again in the first half of 2013.
